ABOUT Kelly MARCHAL

I founded Esprit de Merci in 2017, inspired by my work with great teams and experience in leading through change.  I believe that when individuals are able to contribute the best of themselves, organizations can realize collective purpose and impact.

Before this, I spent 24 years in management and executive roles with a Fortune 50 company in both Finance and Human Resources.  I’ve led teams in designing and implementing solutions, building capabilities, improving connectivity, managing risk and leveraging opportunity.  All of this ultimately enabled our operations team to provide great service to our customers.

My experience and expertise includes strategic planning and analysis, financial modeling, organizational design and restructure, change management, employee engagement and leadership development.  I am also a certified coach and visual facilitator.

    We’ll talk through your experiences, needs and objectives to determine alignment with our offerings.  From here, we’ll discuss our preferred ways of working together and set up an agreement to get started.

    Gather insights through document review, financial analysis, conversations with key stakeholders, assessment tools and/or surveys.  From here, we’ll work together to clarify and refine objectives.

    Analyze and synthesize the insights from Discovery to create a framework for the future.  Identify key steps, critical dependencies and resources needed. Prioritize and plan for development.

    Identify quick wins and be ready to play the long game. Engage the team early and often with communication, celebration and transparency. We will likely need to take some things apart and adjust the plan as we go. Lead and embrace change as you solidify your foundation and build a supportive infrastructure.

The length of an initial engagement is generally 3-12 months, with options to continue working together through regular (annual or semi-annual) check-ins and revisions to your plan as needed.

We work with you and your team to determine an appropriate pace and prioritization for this work. This includes time for reflection, celebration and adjustment as needed along the way.

Due Diligence

Where have we been?  Where are we now? 

Gather insights through document review, financial analysis, conversations with key stakeholders, assessment tools and/or surveys.  From here, we’ll work with you to clarify and refine objectives.

Step 3: Design
Create a Blueprint

Where can we go and how can we get there? 

Analyze and synthesize the insights from Discovery to create a framework for the future.  Identify key steps, critical dependencies and resources needed. Prioritize and plan for development.

Step 4: Develop
Begin the Build

What is the critical path? 

Identify what can be done quickly and engage the team to gain momentum. We may need to take some things apart to build a stronger, more adaptable business model with an aligned organizational culture.
